Privacy policy

Jintavo (ABN 93 112 058 687) handles personal information for online course accounts, tax invoices, and support. This policy is written for the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Account email and password (the password is stored as a hash).
  • Billing name, address, optional company name, and optional ABN, so a tax invoice can be issued.
  • Orders, invoice numbers, amounts, GST, and payment status.
  • Messages you send to support.
  • Technical logs needed to run and secure the site, such as a request IP used for rate limits.

Why we use it

We use this information to run your account, issue invoices, provide the courses, reply to you, and meet record-keeping duties. We do not sell personal information.

Email

Account mail and invoices are sent through Resend. That includes account links, password resets, billing updates, account summaries, and tax invoices. The message goes to the email the email on your account, or to the address you type into the contact form.

Keeping invoices

If you close your login, we remove the password and billing profile from the account. Tax invoices already issued are kept, including the buyer details printed on them, because those are business records.

Access and correction

You can read and update billing details in your account, and you can email yourself a copy of your account information. To ask for a correction we cannot make on the page, email support@jintavo.com.

Complaints

Contact support@jintavo.com first. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
